Is this the same as a real ATS?

It approximates keyword overlap using text analysis and a skill dictionary. Real ATS products use proprietary rules, but this shows which terms you are missing before you apply.

Does this work only for tech jobs?

No. The analyzer detects role focus from the posting and matches industry-specific tools and certifications for tech, marketing, finance, healthcare, sales, HR, operations, legal, design, and education roles.

What is the alignment score?

A 0 to 100% measure of vocabulary overlap between the job description and your resume. Higher generally means better keyword match. It is not a guarantee of an interview.
